It has already been 5 months since we met the British company Gener8, specializing in immersive classroom technology, at the Bett exhibition in London. The demand for immersive classrooms in Slovakia, as it has turned out in recent months, is significant, and we didn’t want to leave anything to chance. So we set out for England in person. We flew to Manchester, with our final destination being the city of Burnley, where Gener8 is based.
We held important business negotiations with the director, during which we managed to secure better distribution terms. We spent hours in their testing immersive room, exploring the nature of the technology as well as how to work with it, and, last but not least, we tested various created scenarios and programs.
And since Burnley is located just a short distance from Halifax, we couldn’t miss the chance to meet with our close partners from Matrix. One evening we strengthened our partnership over a few pints of beer, and the next day we also visited their production of didactic kits.
