MOBILITY IN SPAIN WITHIN THE ERASMUS+ URBOTICS PROJECT – EDUCATIONAL ROBOTICS FOR UNDERSTANDING THE CHALLENGES OF 21ST-CENTURY URBANIZATION

That the European Union and its Erasmus+ program truly make sense was once again confirmed to us during an inspiring activity within the Erasmus+ mobility program in Avilés, Spain.

Together with three teachers from participating Slovak schools, we enjoyed the beauty of Spain and the pleasant climate, which, even in November, still offered warm and welcoming temperatures. Against this southern backdrop, we presented both our company and the participating schools during meetings with partners.

In engaging workshops prepared for us by the host organization Obo – focused on robotics and 3D printing – and by Hungarian Abacusan, the main coordinating organization of this project, we, together with the teachers, had the chance to explore various types of programmable educational robotics tools.

Networking and mutual exchange had a positive impact on all of us and motivated us for the upcoming activities related to this project that still lie ahead.
