The European Night of Science takes place every year on the LAST FRIDAY OF SEPTEMBER with the goal of bringing science closer to the general public. This year again, Kvant, with its laser show, was among the technological partners of the event, and at the same time, a small Kvant/Škola.sk science booth offered visitors scientific activities and experiment demonstrations: the youngest ones had the chance to learn the art of pipetting, observe through a microscope how hairy a fly’s legs are, others discovered with a spectrometer that a rainbow is an ordinary phenomenon in the sky, and with the Pasco weather sensor, we could continuously track how the microclimate at the booth was changing.
